A reliable graphics card

Advantages: Cheap, dvi
Disadvantages: A bit old now
I purchased this graphics card a few years ago for around £40 as an upgrade for an AGP Shuttle system. Now the price is much lower, so you could probably get it for around £20 or less. The only purpose for this card was to play Outrun, which the standard motherboard could not run very well. Also this card has the important DVI output.
Like any other AGP graphics card, you simply stick in the AGP slot, boot up the computer and install the drivers. At the monitor's native 1440x900 resolution, the graphics card is not quite able to able to play Outrun at 60 fps. The game struggles slightly, however downloading a piece of overclocking software called ATITool increases performance to 60 fps with the occasional video glitching.
However at the standard 1280 x 720 resolution, this graphics card doesn't have any difficulties. So for anyone who needs an agp graphics card for connecting a native 720 plasma this graphics card is more than sufficient. Even by today's standards this card is fairly good. Recently I purchased a PCI express motherboard, yet the onboard graphics didn't match this ASUS9550 graphics card.
