I bought this graphics card to replace an 8400 GS, which came with my computer. At the time, i wanted it to be able to run team fortress 2 and Bethesda's oblivion game.

Oblivion was a brilliant test of what it could do, the game ran at nearly max settings, which lit up the scenery throughout the game. Anyone who has played this game will know the stunning landscapes and skies that can be seen.

As for team fortress, a game following a cartoon style of graphics, it runs with little strain on the card. I recently purchased crysis, after having heard of its legendary system requirements, and was surprised to find it would play on the high/medium band of settings at a very good frame rate, and comfortably into the highs.

This card is good value for money, but i would recommend spending more now and getting the 9800 GT or one better than the 9000 range.

Summary: Recommend newer cards, but this was still great
