mithrandir ASUS AGP-V7100 Geforce2 MX
... Euro for them. In order to fill the gap between the two, nVidia introduced the GeForce 2 MX. It has all the goodies of the GTS, but compromises somewhat on the performance-side. This compromise mainly shows at very high resolutions, and at 32 bits color-depth, but since I usually don?t see the difference between 32-bits and 16 bits, I usually go for the lower color-depth anyway. The Asus graphics cards with GeForce 2 MX comes in the following makes: the AGP-V7100 /2VID (with dual VGA output for two screens), AGP-V7100 /DVI (with one VGA output, and a DVI connector), AGP-V7100 /T, (with VGA and TV-out output) and AGP-V7100 Pure (with only one VGA output)...

migrant ASUS nVidia RIVA TNT2 Model 64
... one of my best buys of all time... I'd previously had a Diamond Monster II PCI (an 8 meg Voodoo 2 card), and liked it a lot. When I upgraded my machine to a new ATX motherboard with AGP I naturally looked for an AGP video card. The TNT2 Model 64 seemed to fit the bill, with a massive 32Mb RAM onboard, and OpenGL support. So I bought it and installed it - and received an unpleasant surprise. The performance was no better than the old Diamond Monster II! OpenGL games had a slight edge over DirectX ones, but the same could be said of the old card. The reason is simple - the Model 64 is a cut-down version of the TNT2, the 64 standing for 64-bit address bus...

Gothmog ASUS AGP-V6800 Deluxe Geforce 256 DDR
... out of their machines - for example there is a hardware monitor which allows dynamic overclocking (with added intelligence) - when the PC is idle or not making full use of the card, the clockspeed can be automatically reduced to prolong the life of the card, while as soon as a graphic intensive product is loaded, the clockspeed will revert back to its overclocked status. Speed wise, the Asus board is similar to every other GeForce 256 card running DDR RAM (noticably faster than those running non-DDR RAM). It appears to be faster than many of the popular cards such as the Creative DDR card, but this is only by a few frames per second and will probably make little...
