The ATI All-In-Wonder is not the answer for someone who wants the absolute best 3D and 2D graphics. It's not the answer for someone who wants the absolute best video capture card or tv tuner either. However, if someone wants an affordable card that will do a very good job in each of these areas, then this is most definitely the card for you. 3D and 2D Graphics Now, I will not try to pretend to be an expert when it comes to graphics cards because I'm not. The ATI All-In-Wonder 128 is, as the title suggests, an all-in-one card for 2D, 3D, MPEG decoding (DVD etc.), TV viewing, video capturing and TV output. This model is the AGP version, but there is also a PCI version available. The card comes with a small breakout box which provides video and audio input connectors only. The breakout box basically allows you to plug in your cables elsewhere from the back of the PC, which is useful if you do this regularly. TV aerial input and TV output connections are at the back of the card, however. This can be quite annoying which you want to change the cables around. I was looking for anew graphics card and then I walked along the isle in PC World and came across the new batch of ATI cards. All in wonder is called this because not only does it act as your video card, but it can handle DVD playback, and has a built in TV tuner, and it can record your favourite clips from the television. But for those budding gamers who the graphics card was meant for in the first place the graphical performance doesn't live up to its competition. The other features of the card are ok though. Perasonally if i was after performance graphically and for a cheap card i would go for the TNT 2 Ultra. ...
