ATI Radeon HD 3470

I bought this and inserted it into my computer, initially i found it to be brilliant and capable of handling all aspects of my computer use. But one day my computer suddenly started making a whiring noise from within, which caused me to fear for the worst, I checked inside and found that directly to poor manufacture the fan was coming off and breaking. After the fan finally broke it caused my computer to overheat and burn out forcing me to purchase an entire new system. overall this item is good if you want to use it slightly, but if you you want to use it for gaming, buy a better name as this one (from my experience) is poorly made. WHY WE NEED A GRAPHICS CARD? Do we the normal pc users, need a graphics card? We have to spend some extra pounds to get a decent graphics card for our system. So is it a luxury or necessity for pc users? Because, a dedicated graphics card usually does not come with the basic PC or laptops. We have to buy it additionally and a decent graphics card cost us more than £60 pounds(considering the price of HD 3470 as benchmark). It is not that much cheap as well.
