ATI Radeon 7500 ... a student and also work part time but still dont have the muola to buy a GForce 4 MX GX SX GTI or what ever Nvida call them today. So I opt for the budget option but dont wana to be taken for a ride down the bad frame rate street. For most of my computing life i aways had a ATI under the hud of my system and we have always had a love hate relationship. Love from the great DVD hardware compensation they fit to their chips and from the compentant proformance the cards deliver. The Hate side was from the doggy hardware drivers issued from time to time and the ossimion of the DVD software from OEM products in the past. A few weeks ago I descied to upgrade my system... ATI Radeon 64MB DDR ... built machines using the ATI Xpert 2000 pro (nice cheap all purpose card) I needed to upgrade my own system to something faster as my Viper II was objecting to a lot of the new games and support from Diamond had dried up. I decided to try the ATI Radeon 7200 which was reasonably priced and seemed to offer a bit more than the Xpert cards. The retail pack contains the card, manuals, CD and loads of cables and connectors for hooking up to a TV (the card has TV out as standard as well as VGA). ATI Radeon 64MB DDR ... the industries latest and greatest offerings. So with that in mind upgrades on a regular basis is required if you want to play the latest power hungry games . Upgrading can consist of many things but the main ones revolve around you cpu and you video card so just under 12 months ago i had saved up enough cash to do just this and i targetted a new video card.
