ATI Radeon 64MB DDR:
... was a fine old afternoon in early Febuary when Psychobob decided he needed a new grafix card. His old ATI Rage Fury Maxx was starting to show its age, trundling along in its psuedo dual card state. The main deciding factor was the purchase of Colin McRae Rally II, the Maxx could only cope upto 1280 X 1024 in 32bit depth and had no support for billinier/trilinier filtering or enviroment mapping. So the decision was... Read the full review: Superb card by |

ATI Radeon 64MB DDR ... Nvidia, the major player in graphics technology, designing cards better than ever before. Could ATI produce something that could blow them all away? ATI certaintly didn't think twice about cramming this card with as much state of the art technology they could lay their hands on. The card comes with 64Mb of on-board DDR (double data rate) RAM, ATI's own Radeon 8500 GPU and support for AGP 1X/2X/4X. It also runs in resolutions from 640X480 up to 2048X1536 which is more than enough for anyone. It was also the only card that support DirectX 8.1 on release. ATI All-In-Wonder Radeon ... new ATi Radeon cards have got a good review about them and have improved a lot over past ATi cards. ATi usually get negative feedback by reviewers but that is not the case this time with this new card. They usually lacked optimal performance in things such as new games which require extremely good video cards. This card includes 64MB of DDR Mmemory which is faster memory for better handling and performance. This card equals performance with other cards such as Nvidia Geforce which has been ATi's competitors and ATi have not lost the battle this time. This card outperforms many of Nvidia's cards. It is also a good card for all round users, whether its being us... Read the full review: One Of The Best All Round Cards Out There by raffi257 |
