Advantages: Cheap, Powerful, Did I say cheap?

Disadvantages: Bundled drivers were dreadful (use the detonators from nvidia.com)

After 3 blissful years with my trusty Voodoo 2 it started to falter, the computer started to freeze the card was overheating and it had to go, it had died on me. So I started to save up those pennies but not sure if there was any good budget cards on the market I started to do my research. I went to tweak sites, overclocker sites, review site and finally came to the conclusion that nvidia had blown away the competition. Only one competetor is the Vivid! but not even that can match the price (you can pick up a elsa GeForce 2 MX for < £60).

I bought my creative branded MX 2 and downloaded the Detonator 3 drivers and ever since it's has been bliss. I have an average spec computer which was really struggling with some games but you wouldn't believe the difference this card made, I can now play Half-Life properly at great resoultutions eg 800x600 +, but games such as Black & White and Hitman are a struggle as I only have 64Mb RAM but I am confident that with a little extra RAM the GeForce MX 2 can take on anything.
