Viper 2 - very average

Advantages: solid OpenGL and DVD acceleration.
Disadvantages: Poor value for money
Although not as bad as it's sister (Stealth 3) , the Viper 2 also fails to impress. At £169, it costs the same as a GeForce2 or a Voodoo 5. It has only 32mb of memory which, although sufficient, is far from plentiful when cards offering four times that are out. It does not suffer the same 32bit colour clog as older cards. It packs solid OpenGL processing and has DVD acceleration which is good for movie enthusiasts.
Better, but not at £169. Buy a GeForce 2, a Voodoo 5 or a G450 when it comes out. It is pretty average in all respects, not as bad as some ATI cards, but, at the price, you could do a lot better.
