It is several years old now and although updated versions of the card are available this one still holds it own against a vast number of other cards. When combined with a decent sound card e.g. Creative s X-fi sound card and a decent monitor with under 8ms refresh rate the gaming experience you can enjoy is superb. A game like Battlefield 2142 can be played in superb quality with the 512mb procesing power of the card easily being able to cope with the game. XFX GeForce FX 5200 ... what others will tell you, this is a GREAT card. I have one in my old / spare / back-up PC and it works a treat. If you have a slimmed version of Vista you can install it on a reasonable PC and this card not only allows for Vista Aero, but also for Dream Scene and Desk Scapes !!
