I bought this card Christmas 1999 so it is a bit old now. It was a powerful card but it didn't offer the speed increase that I was after at the time. I was previously running a TNT so I had high hopes. What I have leaarned is that the second generation of each type of card is usually worth waitng for as it offers a substantial increase in power for little more dosh. They are usually released a few months after the first, as was the case for the GeForce2. I'll not be making the same mistake again! Incidently, those of you who are looking to buy a GeForce2 Ultra should note that an all new card from nVidia is due soon, maybe not long after Christmas 2000, though ... Read the complete review
