... are one of the best computer component manufacturers in my opinion. I do prefer Gigabyte for motherboards out of sentimentality, but when it comes to graphics cards I either choose PNY (for their amazing after sales service) or, if it s performance I want, then I go for MSI. MSI MX440 TD8X ... card is now getting to the stage where it is bottom of the range. However, it will still run most games that are coming out to some degree, even if not at high quality. Newer games will not run smoothly with Anti-aliasing and Antistropic Filtering on, and some effects will need to be turned down to maintain an acceptable frame rate, however, it runs the games well if you're not too bothered about graphics. This card is now getting quite old, but it offers a good 'bang for buck' value, as they can be picked up extremely cheaply nowadays, just be prepared for the fact that new games will soon not run on it at all. MSI G4 Ti4200-VTD8X ... bought one of these GeForce 4 Ti4200 cards for my new computer, I only chose the MSI one because it was the cheapest MSI card available with the Ti4200 chipset. What I didn't expect was all of the lovely extra stuff that came with it - some manufacturers will just give you a card in a box with a boring instruction manual, but MSI really make you feel like you have got your moneys worth.
