During its 4 year lifetime this card worked rather well, and I did play many games as well as run CAD software such as Solidworks on the computer without much hassle. This card is ok, but its not, by any means, the best card out there. It won't compete with the PCIE cards now available, and if you do have a PCI E slot on your motherboard I would reccomend going a PCI express card since these have higher bandwidth. However, its still a good card. Capable of playing some older games rather well as well as play DVDs. Well its true what they say, you do get what you pay for, and at £50 the XFX FX5200 is a good card to start off your gaming adventures. The 5200 series is the bargain bucket end of Nvidias new range of directx9 compatible cards, and is the natural successor to the old Geforce 4 MX cards. As you can imagine, this means that it will not change your video gaming world forever but it will keep your finger firmly in the pudding of the new games coming out these days (if not at a very high frame rate!).
