This card is a great little piece of gear and its affordable too. I run this baby along side 3gigs of ram and an AMD athlon x2 5000+ and I have to say it has never done me wrong! I upgraded to this about 6 months ago and I have to say I no longer need to worry about whether my pc can handle certain games. I got mine from a friend, but after looking at prices everwhere it floats around 50 pounds on ebay, so it won't break the bank. It will handle pretty much anything you throw at it. Granted, some very demanding games such as Crysis facilitate the need to turn down some of the graphics settings to get decent framerates but nethertheless the card will certainly play most games at a playable framerate.
I would note that the card is fairly big and you shouldn't buy this card unless you are absolutely sure you can fit it inside your pc! Most ATX cases will have the space for it but anything smaller and you may have problems. The card is quite noisy too I might add, as the fan needs to run to keep the thing cool.
The card runs best on windows xp and recently runs well on windows 7. For vista, I had a few problems with the drivers.
If you are looking for a good, solid card in the mid-high range then I would pick this over any ati card just because its affordable and will pack the most punch for your money. However, this card is fairly old as it is and thus not future proof.
