A great card and at a decent price (Point of View GeForce 8800 GT)
Member Name: TheSlyOne
Advantages: Runs most games well, Very reliable, Affordable Disadvantages: Quite dated, noisy, large
This card is a great little piece of gear and its affordable too. I run this baby along side 3gigs of ram and an AMD athlon x2 5000+ and I have to say it has never done me wrong! I upgraded to this about 6 months ago and I have to say I no longer need to worry about whether my pc can handle certain games. I got mine from a friend, but after looking at prices everwhere it floats around 50 pounds on ebay, so it won't break the bank. It will handle pretty much anything you throw at it. Granted, some very demanding games such as Crysis facilitate the need to turn down some of the graphics settings to get decent framerates but nethertheless the card will certainly play most games at a playable framerate. Summary: If you need to play games at a decent fps and at a decent quality, get this.
