Advantages: Performs decently, nice extras, supports dual monitor

Disadvantages: Expensive now

Apparently this card matches up to some of the nVidia 8800 series, but I'm not too sure. It's an OK card, but lacked the extra push on some of the larger resolutions for games.

This card uses DDR3 ram on the card and has 512MB of it. I think that DDR3 is a bit outdated for a graphics card. I used special unofficial hacked drivers for a bit more power

It came with some video out cables and the external dual monitor display is excellent to use as always. The DVI-to-HDMI converter included is nice and allows you to hook the monitor to a HD TV if you like playing on the big screen telly in the lounge.

At the time, it was at a decent price, but now you can get a lot better. The card does quite well at some games like those using the Source engine, but lacks a little bit of extra ooomph on high resolutions with more demanding games.

The Sapphire HD2900XT is a decent card for Radeon fans, it performs pretty well and has full multimedia support with excellent connectivity and dual monitor support. However, now you can get quite a bit better at the same price range.

Summary: It was a great card, but now you can get better value with other cards
