      Very helpful

Well worth a buy, especially at the £50 region

This card is really quite the bargain. Selling now at around the £50 mark it offers a lot of punch for your pound. I run this in a rig containing a 2.66ghz core duo processor and 3 gig of RAM. The combination allows me to run the latest releases, all generally on high settings. This said it does sometimes struggle with settings such as water and anti-aliasing so if you're particularly keen on these it might pay to spend a little more and get something a bit higher up the technological tree.

I initially bought one of these and unfortunately it crashed my machine after about half an hours gaming, however upon returning it to the store for an exchange the card has run fine so I feel it is safe to say that it was just from a faulty batch.

The output options cover most wants these days, DVI, VGA and TV out, no HDMI slot though so if that's important steer clear. For some reason I did find that after installing the drivers and software that it messed up my preinstalled sound drivers which caused an hour or two's worth of confusion, but after reinstalling my own sound drivers there's been no further problems. The card is still running everything nicely, though it should be, it's only 6 months old!
