For the price, you'd struggle to beat the image quality or the speed. A great buy.

A little outdated now thanks to the 4870, but with every cloud comes a silver lining and now the 3870 is down to about £70, down from the £160 I paid for mine the week after they came out. If you consider yourself an "elite" gamer this may not be the card for you, anyone who is looking for a massive increase in performance over your onboard card or an older ati/nvidia card, the HDMI adapter works amazingly if you are after an HD capable media centre PC and the low power consumption is an essential nowadays with energy costing as high as ever, this card will step its clock down to 300mhz when no 3d applications are running and up to 777mhz as soon as it starts auto overclocking if you will. It is highly overclockable, I've had mine at 835mhz on the core and around 1306mhz on the memory, if you wanna run crysis higher than 1280 x 1024 this isnt the card for you, but if you have a small monitor as I used to, you'll have no problem with maxing out ANY game (as long as the rest of your machine is any good)
