Definately a quality card (Sapphire Radeon HD 4870 X2)

Advantages: Very fast. Can handle any game

After looking into the differences between the current AMD/ATI cards and Nvidia's GEFORCE cards, my decision fell on the most recent AMD/ATI card named the AMD 4870X2 card.
For those of you who are not up to date with regard to graphic cards, AMD and Nvia are the two main players in this market (the discrete graphic card market) which, until recently, was rulled by Nvidia. Nonetheless, AMD did their research right this time and were able to outfox Nvidia. AMD decided to develop smaller but simpler graphic chips which, although a little slower than nvidia's GTX280 chip, are much cheaper to produce than nvidia's cards.
To make up for the slightly slower chip, AMD put very fast DDR5 memory chips and equipped this card with not one, but two GPU's, allowing it to outperform practically every current graphic card on the market.
This card can easily handle practically every game available, even at high resolutions and using 8xAA.
The software bundle included is also quite appealing but I believe the offered bundle depends on the country in which the card is bought.

Overall, a great buy for considering its price.
