Sapphire Radeon HD 3870 ... little outdated now thanks to the 4870, but with every cloud comes a silver lining and now the 3870 is down to about £70, down from the £160 I paid for mine the week after they came out. If you consider yourself an "elite" gamer this may not be the card for you, anyone who is looking for a massive increase in performance over your onboard card or an older ati/nvidia card, the HDMI adapter works amazingly if you are after an HD capable media centre PC and the low power consumption is an essential nowadays with energy costing as high as ever, this card will step its clock down to 300mhz when no 3d applications are running and up to 777mhz as soon as it starts au... Sapphire Radeon HD 2900 XT ... dual monitor display is excellent to use as always. The DVI-to-HDMI converter included is nice and allows you to hook the monitor to a HD TV if you like playing on the big screen telly in the lounge. At the time, it was at a decent price, but now you can get a lot better. The card does quite well at some games like those using the Source engine, but lacks a little bit of extra ooomph on high resolutions with more demanding games. The Sapphire HD2900XT is a decent card for Radeon fans, it performs pretty well and has full multimedia support with excellent connectivity and dual monitor support. Sapphire Radeon 9550 ... graphic card I bought to my brand new PC about 5-6 years ago and it is still sitting there. Straight away have to point how good and durable this card is. For all this years I haven t had any troubles with it, even haven t had to remove it from AGP socket, except of cooler routine cleaning. I bought it because of high parameters and good specification when using graphic programs. Obviously I mean high parameters like for 2001 year. I have to mention that I was rendering images and scenes from 3ds max, editing pictures in Photoshop Corel and other similar software and Radeon was doing great job every single time.
