The 8800GT is a great card. (XFX GeForce 8800 GT)

Advantages: Very fast, single slot, 2 dual-link DVI, driver software is excellent. Disadvantages: Not cheap. I was very impressed by this graphics card, since it can run all my games (Red Alert 3, SPORE, The Sims 3, etc) on full settings at 1440x900, and was very useful for converting a film for my iPod, using Badaboom. The twin Dual-Link DVI ports were useful for my DVI-enabled monitor, and the results looked very good. The included driver software was very helpful, especially for changing the colour settings to be more accurate on my XP SP3 based system. The installation was easy, but this depends more on the case than the card itself. Please be warned that this card requires 2 PCI-E power cables, although the card did come with them, if I am correct. This card is more than sufficient for running all but the most demanding games at high resolutions, and I would very much strongly recommend this card to any medium to high end gamer with only a single slot in the case available. Summary: A very capable card, perfect for medium to high-end gamers.
