Advantages: 4 in 1, Fast material removal
Disadvantages: Plastic parts wears out, No electronics for RPM
When I first bought KA250K I thought it is a great idea to have a 4 in 1 product. Now, after about 20 hours of sanding almost all plastic add-ons must be replaced.
Filter dust cassete is 1.) not so effective 2.) becomes loosen through time and then creates additional noise and vibrations (I was being suggested to wear gloves to minimize vibrations).
Plastic finger attachment also wears out after only 2-3 hours of work.
Welcro tape literally fell off the tip of the triangular sanding plate, while the other (from the small triangluar plate) doesn´t hold anymore.
I blame 170W of power for all troubles. 13.000 RPM is simply too strong for plastic parts.
I wonder if KA225E would be a better choice. It runs smoothlier + have electronics for RPM.
At the service I learned that hobby power tools inteded to be used for 3 hours per year!
