Advantages: Does not bleed

Disadvantages: Very sticky and expensive

Guerlain for me as a 20 something is an expensive, "high end" and somewhat old fashioned brand. I am much more of a MAC kind of girl. Regardless, I was encouraged to try this out by the lady who did my makeup for my wedding.

The cost is around £20 which, for a lipgloss is very expensive in my opinion (given that lipglosses don't stay on like lipsticks do). The need to re-apply makes them run out much more quickly, but that is true of any brand, not just Guerlain.

The one thing going good for this lipgloss is it doesn't bleed as much around the lips as others I have tried. The rest though for me is negative comments. It is very sticky, although smooth in consistency, it isn't like Vaseline-sticky, it's like "go out on a windy day and your hair will stick to your lips" sticky. I can't bear lip glosses like this, there are a few out there (AVON for example) which aren't as sticky as normal but this isn't one of them.

Despite me thinking the brand is old fashioned, the packaging is nice and looks up to date - the body of the gloss is see through plastic so you can see the colour and a nice metallic wand-end.

Overall I don't rate the product highly or any better than a low-end cheap 99p lipgloss other than the bright colours bleed slightly less than a cheaper brand would. I wouldn't buy it again as it is nothing special and very expensive.

Summary: Don't bother!
