I love to try new products from higher end cosmetic brands when I have the opportunity. I often add them to my gift wish list in the hope that some generous soul will indulge me and occasionally it works. I received this as a gift last Christmas, along with a couple of other products, and was very excited to try it.

The mask comes in a bright blue coloured tube with a gold twist lid. The packaging is attractive, functional and expensive looking. The vivid colour is great in the bathroom as it is easy to spot amongst a plethora of other products. The flexibility of the plastic tubing is practical as it allows you to squeeze the contents easy and to cut open the tube when it begins to deplete. I really like the size of the application hole, it stops you from using too much at once which is nice from a product that is pretty outrageously expensive.

The product comes in the form of a cream mask, you apply this by rubbing across your face making sure you evenly coat your entire face - obviously avoid your eyes and hair as best you can. You then leave this for ten minutes, or fifteen like me, before washing off with water. It is fairly simple to use and the smell of the mask is subtle and pleasant. Application is easy and removal is relatively trouble free. Obviously the longer you leave the mask on the harder it sets so just be careful to remove all of the product thoroughly.

The mask leaves me skin feeling super smooth and refreshed. It leaves my skin looking and feeling healthier than before and is the perfect face mask for utter bathroom indulgence. I like to use it once a week/every two weeks so that I can savour it and feel the benefits more. This works well for me because I have other products I can use in between but if you are looking for more regular use I would choose a cheaper product. I love the effect this mask has on my skin, but is it really worth the price?

At roughly £28 for a 75ml tube I have to reluctantly say no. At that price the mask would have to transplant Jessica Alba's face onto mine completely pain free. Perhaps that's an exaggeration but for that price I expect an awful lot. I can't see myself purchasing it again but I would certainly love to receive it as a gift.

Overall? Too pricey for me.
