Guinot Energizing Shower Gel ... shower gel is perhaps an interesting and unexpected departure for Guinot. A brightly coloured fruity bodywash isn t a common offering from a notable salon brand in my experience! That said, Tropic Tonic is certainly a pleasant way to energise and refresh in the shower. The scent is distinctly tropical - fruity without being too sweet or overpowering. And it certainly revives the senses so it s perfect for the morning. Especially after an evening of overindulgence! However, with a price tag of £15.00+, I would expect it to not only wake me up in the shower, but perhaps make me a coffee and fetch me a croissant too! Guinot Vital Body Care ... with a lovely smooth texture. It left my skin delicately perfumed, supple and hydrated. It takes a teeny bit of time to sink in as it is rich, but it is definitely worth it, as it left my skin feeling much smoother and softer. Which after all, is what you want from a body cream right! Sadly unless you are a size double zero, it won t last you too long, so unless you are prepared to fund an expensive habit, there are certainly cheaper products out there that will do the same job for less. Guinot Radiance Mask ... It costs around £20 for 50ml The mask itself is of the non-drying variety, it is lovely & thick & smells wonderful. It is intended for dry skin or skin needing a boost. After leaving this on for 10 minutes and rinsing off you skin is noticeably softer, plumper and feels really nourished. I haven t yet come across any masks which come close to Guinot masks so if you are happy spending £20 on a tube of luxurious mask then find out where your nearest Guinot stockist is & have a word with one the beauticians about which of their masks would suit you best.
