Advantages: Reduces puffiness, has a slight effect on fine lines.

Disadvantages: Expensive.

If you've read my previous review, you'll be up-to-date on the mini pamper session I'm having and having exfoliated and applied a mask, I've now got to the eye mask stage.

**What it does
The purpose of the mask is to relieve tired eyes and puffiness. The refreshing and soothing gel helps to improve circulation, reduce shadows, fine lines and puffiness and tighten and rehydrate this delicate area. It also contains soft focus pigments to reduce the appearance of wrinkles.

**Application
The mask is a clear gel texture which has very little smell, I think I can just about make out a slight smell of witch hazel. It is applied sparingly, left for 10 mins and then rinsed off.

**Results
I find it leaves the area softer and better hydrated and this improves the look of the skin, but is not the most dramatic of effects compared to some other Guinot products. I definitely, however, believe that it is benefitting my eyes so will continue to use. I do not suffer from dark circles but I do have fine lines and can get puffiness. The puffiness is definitely improved, the fine lines are slightly improved.

One added benefit though is that I find that when my eyes are puffy and itchy from hay fever, this mask helps to calm and relieve them.

**Packaging and price.
The tube (shown in the picture with the old packaging - now has the red/white packaging) is 30ml and costs around £22, so expensive as always but you do only use a very small amount each time.

**Verdict
Yes, this product works and I will continue to use but I would not include it in my top 10 must have products. It does improve appearance of puffiness and fine lines, but I would be open to trying other alternatives, especially as this is quite pricey even for Guinot.

Summary: Good, but not outstanding.
