... action is great, perfect for speedy solos. The body is quite thick and it is a string thru design, which results in the sustain being absolutaly fantastic, the notes just dont die! The only downside to this being the guitar is very heavy. Soundwise the guitar is very good. I run my guitar into a 100 watt marshall MG100DFX through an original cry baby, and the sound is great. I Bought this guitar about a year ago for my 17th, and at that time it was only my second electric, the other being a De Armond. The first DX7 i owned hada bent neck and had to be returned, which did make me somewhat dubious of there quality, however when i got the replacement and set it up, all worries were gone. This is a great guitar. It came set up with 12's which i replaced with 10's. The action is great, perfect for speedy solos.
