Fender Telecasters in general:
... my 10 years of guitar playing I ve owned over 20 ranging from the standard models to custom shop classics. Of all these guitars there is one that I will never part with - my Fender telecaster. The telecaster is a real guitar players guitar - it does exactly what it says on the tin. The two pickups offer three settings, each of which is instantly recognisable as a classic guitar tone. The bridge pickup offers ... Read the full review: A Truely Brilliant Guitar by Mrscrunter |

Yamaha Pacifica 112 M MN ... Yamaha Pacifica 112 is often classed as a beginners guitar due to it simple look and budget price. However, I disagree with this as overall it is a very sturdy guitar which will offer many years of advanced guitar playing if treated well. The pickups on this guitar are 2 single coils, and 1 humbucker. This means that the pickup switch can be adjusted to produce a range of sounds from twangy country, to a dirty rock sound. I personally love that the pickup switch can be placed in five different positions as it allows me to play in a range of styles, from Rock to more acoustic sounding music (my personal two favourite genres). The volume and tone knobs allow easy m... Read the full review: A guitar to trust by RPH1991 |

Tokai LS150 ... is my second guitar, it is a Les Paul copy made in China. It has a standard string thru bridge with a rosewood fretboard with trapezoid inlays. I m not sure what wood it made out of. The pickups are standard Tokai ones and the tuners I think are Grover. This guitar is based on the Gibson Les Paul standard, mine is in Cherry Sunburst. The tuners work great, I always forget to tune but it stays in tune very well. The neck itself is very smooth, the fretboard is very, very good, fret wires are the perfect height, its easy to slide, I love the D shape of the neck. The treble and middle pickup positions are very good but the rhythm pickup is a bit too bassy for me but I... Read the full review: Rock is Pretty Damn Solid by robertjb |

Gibson Les Paul Studio ... I set out to buy a guitar for my 17th birthday, I had no idea how lucky I was going to get. As soon as I lay eyes on it in the shop I was in love. Visually, all Les Paul s are very attractive, and the Studio comes with a significantly lower price tag, which is very nice! Mine is a nice cherry red, and while the finish may not be as amazing as the LP Custom models, as soon as you plug it in, you really won t care about the paint job. In short - it sounds amazing. It possesses this really rich, full tone, with a lovely fat low end and a singing high end. With a touch of distortion added to it this guitar sounds formidable, even when you ve got it pretty quiet, it someh...
