Les Paul Standard:
... guitars this one came into my possession and just like that I felt in move through my system. The rhythm has a very deep warm blues sound. This is ideal for playing anything slow, soulful and meaningful. The switch is at the top of the guitar which is common on most Gibson models and the volume on the bottom half of the body. The treble is great for when you want to slam some distortion and play some serious heavy... Read the full review: sound of artists by lemonjim |

Gibson Les Paul Studio ... I set out to buy a guitar for my 17th birthday, I had no idea how lucky I was going to get. As soon as I lay eyes on it in the shop I was in love. Visually, all Les Paul s are very attractive, and the Studio comes with a significantly lower price tag, which is very nice! Mine is a nice cherry red, and while the finish may not be as amazing as the LP Custom models, as soon as you plug it in, you really won t care about the paint job. In short - it sounds amazing. It possesses this really rich, full tone, with a lovely fat low end and a singing high end. With a touch of distortion added to it this guitar sounds formidable, even when you ve got it pretty quiet, it someh... Les Paul Standard ... one of the best guitars around nowadays. What an incredible sound. I currently own a Les Paul Standard and a Fender, and my playing sounds 70% better on the Les Paul then on the Fender for various reasons. Firstly, the neck made of mahogany is so well bilt, that my hand runs smoothly up and down the fret board. Secondly, the fretboard is so smooth, that when i slide up or down, my fingers do not stop due to friction, which is one of the problems i have with my fender so my sounds sound clean and complete. Also, the sound produced from this guitar make it worth its money. It gives a clean professional sound, when put in distortion sounds amazing. Living proof tha... Gibson Acoustic Guitars ... review of Gibson Acoustic Guitars ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Introduction ~~~~~~~~ Originally founded by Orville Gibson in the late 19th century; the Gibson brand of musical instruments quickly gained a great reputation for making hi quality instruments. Orville (who s dress sense has to be seen to be believed - (I ve seen some old photos of him in clothes that would make a 1970 s extra on Starsky and Hutch feel embarrassed -lol!) originally started out building mandolins but quickly moved on to make acoustic guitars too. Orville can certainly take credit for making the first arch-top acoustic guitars, and he also made flat topped ones too -though the Martin company ...
