A hard to come by guitar here in the UK (and especially in Scotland) the now discontinued (and hard to come by anywhere now lol) Epiphone EJ-300S Jumbo Acoustic is a thing of beauty and a joy to behold. The solid top is quite thick and definitely matures with age and the grain chills out a bit. There is much debate over the supposedly limited volume the thing produces especially when compared to it's thinner topped sister guitar the EJ-200 but I find it perfectly useable and not compromised at all.
