As one of the more expensive on the Epiphone range, this guitar has a lot to live up to, with it's £3000 odd Gibson version. Gold hardware, three humbuckers, and perhaps most importantly an ebony top to the body. Compared to an Epiphone Les Paul Standard, this guitar has a fatter tone, it is much sweeter when clean, but pump up the distortion and this guitar wails. The third [middle] pick-up can be great sometimes, and other times nothing but a hindrance.
