Amazing guitar, recommended for rocking musicians who are serious about music

This guitar is a lot heavier than a standard guitar such as a strat, you could do with a thick strap to carry the weight, be advised if you're frail in the arms this may not be for you. This is a standard les paul size guitar, suitable for most adults, but even some small hands can get around the neck so perhaps children too.

It has a dark red mahogany back, and obviously a gold top, which has a slight glittery look too it in the right light. The inlays are white perloid which looks great with the gold top.

The factory set up with this guitar was pretty decent, the intination was set correctly, as was the pick up height. The action on the guitar was extremely low yet not causing fret buzz, the frets themselves were properly installed to not cause dead-notes when fretting a string. Strap buttons on the guitar were sturdy and well built.

I was impressed that this guitar hardly ever went out of tune, because of this even when it did go out of tune it was a doddle to retune it. However i would not recommend drop tuning this guitar below C, this may cause the neck to warp (being a set neck).

Classic p-90 pickups produce a warm smooth sound, best suited to classic rock n' roll / blues, with the right amplifier you could perhaps make it a bit heavy.

In summary this is an amazing guitar which is nice to play, produces a nice sound, most definitely recommended, However would be a shame to buy if you are a beginner guitarist purely due to it's price.
