Epiphone SG G-400:
... am a complete beginner and do not know much about guitars, but I felt I need to try and review this guitar as I love it so much. I have always loved the SG, ever since I saw Kelly Jones from the stereophonics on TV when I was younger. Then after having learnt the basics of guitar on my dads old stratocaster, I decided to buy my own guitar, and this is the one I went for. When I first opened my G-400, I could not b... Epiphone Les Paul Standard ... bought my Epi LP a fwe years ago, it was choice between this and a Fender JagStang, after playing on them both I chose this. If you can t afford a proper Gibson then you can t go wrong with the Epiphone. It s the same company and the set up is the same. To be honest if you don t really care about the differences between the Epi and the Gibson and you want something different to a Fender then this is a certain buy. In my opinion it s better quality and sound than the Fender Squire Strat and looks almost identical to a real Gibson. The sound quality is brilliant, you get the great Gibson squeal that you hear on loads of rock songs, it s nice and smooth to play and is... Epiphone Les Paul Special II ... had this guitar over 2 year and man has it served me well! After learning to play on an encore strat copy, I was ready to upgrade. After looking round at all the Vintage, Squires and Crafters, I decided to take a risk and buy the Epiphone off the internet for £115 withough having played it first..and im so glad I did! For a beginner to intermediate player, or even for an expert as a second guitar this is a fantastic axe! It feels solid and has a good weight to it and hung down low like Slash or Billie Joe makes you feel like a rockstar. The double humbucker pickups have that great rock sound, which is great, however I guess one of the downsides is it is a guitar for r... Read the full review: Great for punk rock by mousedadrummer |

Epiphone Sheraton II ... we have the Epiphone Sheraton II, unlike most Epiphones this isn t a cheap (er) Gibson clone. The Sheraton is an original Epiphone model, though it is quite obviously aiming for the same kind of market as a Gibson ES335. The build quality of the Sheraton I had was of a high standard, with only a sligh bit of glue run around the trim of the F holes. The gold hardware on won t stay gold for long, and the bridge quickly wares, though this looks fine and makes the guitar look played and loved. The feel of the neck is nice, it s chunky with out going into the Gibson 50s profile, it s how you would want it to feel to be honest. With neatly finished trapezoid markets (mot...
