Get a tele! (Fender Classic 60s Telecaster RW)
Name: karlkrueger
Advantages: Usable sound, easy to play, simple controls, and vintage appeal Disadvantages: It's a little difficult to play up past the 15th fret.
This guitar is marketed as an old school replica. Inexperience might lead one to believe he/she would buy a '60s tele in order to achieve old school sounds. This guitar is often viewed as a twangy guitar for rockabilly or country. People associate the tele with a thin, wirey, bright, and jangly sound great for those types of music. It is true that one can achieve those sounds quickly with a tele. Summary: If you could only own one guitar, buy a tele. |
