bipolarmo Fender Classic 50s Stratocaster MN: ... quite bright and I compensate by rolling off a bit of treble on my amp. The 5 way switch lets you access all the classic strat sounds from bite to quack. However, I mostly use the neck pickup as I prefer that rich creamy sound. There s a lot of snobbery about Mexican Fenders but I have no complaints about any of the components here nor the craftsmanship. There were no flaws, no loose parts and the gloss finish on t...

arctic1 Fender Squier P-Bass
... title actually is not correct. This is not a regular "Fender Squier P-Bass" but it s a "Fender Squier P-Bass Special Edition". It s just the same as the Standard P-Bass but in different colours. I really like the black headstock though! The bass plays smoothly, the P-bass neck is nice n thin (bit thinner than an original standard bass guitar neck) but still has the P-sound or J-sound (Depends on your pick up configuration). For it s price, the bass guitar sounds pretty good but Squier is generally a good brand, unlike the cheaper ones from the Fender brand. There are 3 pots on it in total, 2 pots for the volume of the 2 coils and the other one adju...

BrenDale Fender Telecasters in general
... have owned a Telecaster 72 custom for a couple of years now after updating my poor man s squire strat. I must say that I got this guitar in a sale for £400 ish and it is the best £400 I have ever spent. Some people say that the Telecaster is outdated and ugly but when I get round to polishing my black custom with aple neck it just blows me away. Not only does it look great, it also sounds great. With a below average practice amp you can still get a mean sounds from it. It is comfortable, although slightly heavier than some other guitars I have played. I wouldn t change this guitar for the world and would recommend it to anyone, either beginner or seasoned pro, as...

Jonny_L Fender Telecasters in general
... Telecaster is an engineers guitar. When Leo Fender first started making electric guitars, this is what came from it. It s a big ugly thing really, the somewhat neglected older, less perfect brother of the Stratocaster. The Telecaster has this big heavy body, carved from basic lines and very few contours, the pick guard reflects this further, just a big bit of plastic, no style whatsoever, just purely there to serve a purpose. The pickups are basic single coil affairs that buzz under halogen lights, only two of them, a neck and a bridge pickup. There s only one volume control, and one tone control too, and then a three-pole switch for selecting between pickups....
