Being left-handed and a bass player means there is a limited range of basses you can get when you first start playing due to prices and avalibilty. The Ibanez GSR 200 is the budget bass of there "Soundgear" series of basses. As I was only a beginner, I wasn't too worried about sound, but overall sound this bass have is very good.
