... strings are rubbish. They do not sound good at all. So you should consider purchasing some good strings. I would recommend Elixir strings. I also do not like the cheap pick ups it has. They do not sound good. But I guess you should take it in to consideration when buying such a cheap guitar. Overall I do not think that you could get a good and a cheap guitar from Ibanez or Fender. You are better off with some other, perhaps less famous brand (Gibson, Yamaha etc.)....more

So I have played this guitar in some band practices. Quite many times actually. I think the biggest advantage that it has is its price. It looks quite nice too. And if I think really hard for another positive aspect about this, well I like the buttons. And there the positive side ends. As mentioned before this guitar is cheap really cheap, way too cheap. You can not get a good guitar for this price. Atleast not a brand new one. It does not sound good at all. At least for a person who has dealt with music for some time. But for a beginner, yes why not, for learning purposes it does its job well. And I bet it will make the person happy ... Read the complete review
