Advantages: Great sound!
Disadvantages: Not big enough for large shows
The kustom KGA10FX guitar amplifier may be small, but it can throw out a decent volume for practices. Priced at around £60 to £70 you are obviously paying for quality rather than quantity.
The amplifier only has a rated output of 10watts RMS, which is loud enough for bedroom and small band practices but could produce a bit of a problem if you were going to play large concerts.
The thing I like about this amp is that it has 2 channels, and what is unusual about this is that the channels have seperate gain and volume controls - so you can individually control the levels for the channels separately.
Along with these controls there is also a 3 band equaliser, being low - middle - and treble frequencies that you can change. This is pretty standard of most amplifiers!
There is also a reverb/echo effect on the ampl which gives a very nice sound and can help to make this small amp sound a bit more full ad filling.
As standard again there is a cd/tape input, headphone jack, external speaker output (for outputting your sound to a different speaker) and a line output.
This amp is a very good quality amp, but do look around as for the price you could pick up a 40w - 50w guitar amp. maybe more if you bought second hand - and this would probably be a better diea but it all depends on the sound your after! Your amp pays a masive part in your overall sound, so your amp and guitar need to match to your requirements for you to achieve the sound you are looking for!
The amp weighs 6.8kg and the dimensions are 29x20x33cm (WxDxH).
Summary: Great practice amp
