Yes, you get the glamourous look and x-factor but the bass, similar to the guitar, is heavy and gets hard to play when you get to the 20-24 fret zone (Depending on the neck size). Also, it doesn't "like" slappin'n'poppin as the pick-ups are moderate for pick-ups that come with it. I would recommend this bass to old rock bassists where the bass lines that you play consist of small runs and low bass lines (nothing to high up the fret board)...more |
