Yet another muti-effects unit from the audio effects superheads Line 6! Line 6 are very well known in the audio world for there digital creations such as the hugely popular 'POD' guitar effects processor right through to the Variax digital guitars which are capable of creating standard guitar tones through to an emulated banjo! These guys know what theyre doing hence why they are generally the first port of call for consumers!

So my guitar rig was building up but i was missing a delay pedal, there are a few well known options available and the two i came down to were this pedal and the Boss loop station. I'm a huge MUSE fan and after hearing that lead man Matthew Bellamy had used it i was swayed!

I popped to my local audio store and tried one out and it wasn't long before it was in a carrier bag leaving the store! This is so much more then just a standard delay pedal, the unit offers other features such as reverse effects and overdub looping!

Despite looking somewhat more complicated then other delay pedals available for purchase this is simply as it offers more effects and the controls are just the same!

The pedal features 6 adjustable knobs as well as 4 independent stomp buttons, each are used for different things such as starting and stopping loop recording, bypassing delays and tapping tempos.

It features 18 preset effects which can be adjusted and offers 3 spaces for users to store their own settings.

The manual clearly shows the controls and effects of the pedal and states which original effect has been re-created by the pedal such as the emulation of the roland space echo and electro-harmonix memory man.

Line 6 have done a great job of recreating these old classic effects and the sensible control layout allows easy manipulation.


Overall the pedal is a great addition to any effects setup, whether your a solo performer who wants to use the loop record to build your own sound or a big band that wants the 'Edge' U2 rhythm delay they pedal is for you!
