Advantages: all round amazing
Disadvantages: not quite sure
I was originally going to buy a different martin and i am so glad that i didn't!! the 000-15 is a fantastic guitar, wether it be recording, live performance or just farting around it has consistent tone and the action is phenomenal.
When i recieved my 000-15 and opened the case i was hit with this tremendous smell of mahogany which is still there and makes me smile everytime i open the case... the build quality is next to none, truly fantastic and consistent of the Martin reputation...
I have found that it responds very well to the martin brand of folk "silk and steel" strings whcih are also very good quality and not to harsh on the fingers, which is always a bonus. My Martin as i am sure all other martins do came with a hard case which is of good quality but i wouldn't trust it on a trans Atlantic flight... The company that i bought it from - imuso.co.uk supplied the case as standard which is something that i have found alot of other companies don't do and the price i paid was around £765.00 but may have changed since with the current climate of economy.
I have used the 000-15 for around 2 years now and am extremly pleased with it, it has been gigged and used in the studio and has produced everytime just what i wanted, wether it has been finger picking, blues, jazz, heavy barchords it has given what i expect, very easy to tune and once in tuned it holds it very well!!!
i would highly recommend this guitar to anyone and hope that this is of use to you, but remember, when buying guitar is what you are comfortable with, do try before you buy!!
Summary: A fantastic guitar

- 13/04/09 For the benefit of buyers I for one would like to know how much this cost you, if the quality is actually that good - did you get a case as standard? Perhaps you could mention the seller here as not many sellers provide a case too.
Also is it easy to tune/replace strings/general maintenance? |
