This is a really good amp for anyone from an absolute beginner to an experienced player. It gives a great range of sounds and has lots of different effect that you can play around with and experiment. If you are a serious gig player, you may want to invest in the 60W version or go for a completely different amp. Advantages: *There are lots of features on the amp, which means you can get a huge variety of sounds without buying an effets pedal, which is a massive bonus. *There is plenty of connections on the amp, it has 2 inputs, a foot pedal port and a recording output. This is my second amp; my first was the small squier amp I got with my guitar. This is a solid state amplifier; it is also a modelling amplifier.
