Advantages: good to modify, looks great!

Disadvantages: cant get too many tones from it

Dont be put off by the fact that this guitar is called a Junior, looks smaller, and only has one single coiled pick-up (some conversions have just a humbucker pick-up) it still is in line when it comes to quality of Gibson guitars.
Although it doesnt have the tonal range of most guitars, the single coil pick-up responds well, probably due to the careful placing of it on the guitar, also the fact that a lot less room is taken up on the body, the sounds resonates more.
This guitar is probably for the type of guitarist that needs a flashy looking back-up, but isnt really considering it as a first guitar.
It's also a guitar that is widely open to modification to your own specification, for example, there is ample room to add yourself a second single-coil pick-up, or a humbucker.
A worthy guitar, to rock out with, and to ultimately look cool with.
