Disadvantages: The Tuner

Before i purchased my TAN45c, i had been searching for a new guitar for nearly two years. I tried various martins and taylors but couldn't find one i liked in my price range. I bought the tak mainly because of its deep rich sound when unplugged and to have something different from most peoples predictable choices.
it sounds beautiful when picked or strummed and it seems you can just hit the strings harder and harder and it just keeps on impressing.
no one can deny its ability to turn heads when its plugged into a PA! the cooltude pick up is outstanding, it has to be heard to be believed!
TAN45c not only sounds incredible both unplugged and through a PA, but it looks fantastic and even an untrained eye Could recognise its quality.
My one hang up with this guitar is that the on board tuner is absolutely shocking!! Its very very bad and couldn't tell you you're guitar was in tune even if its life depended on it.
On the whole takamine is a great guitar manufacturer and the whole tan range are superb value for money. GET ONE

Summary: I could not be happier with it, if you have the money buy it!
