Aussie Smooth Mate Static Shampoo ... hate my afro hair, which has now also started to get grey strands. It has always been an afro mess, which I have hated since the age of 15 and I have tried numerous Shampoo s, Serum s and even straightening solutions on it. All I can say is thank god for hair straighteners. I do try to leave it natural sometimes though so the straighteners don t kill my hair completely. If you have read my reviews before you will know hat I have tried numerous Straightening Shampoo s to try to tame the locks but to no avail. If I had the time and knowledge, I would make all of my shampoos and conditioners at home, using traditional ingredients such as beer for shine and honey for dry hair. If it was good enough years ago, then it s good enough now! So why this inclination? Well we are bombarded with a barrage of hidden chemicals in everything from hand soap to face cream. Trevor Sorbie Long Hair Straightening Shampoo ... bought this product recently when it was on special offer. I always have used budget (shops own) shampoos previously and so was expecting something extra special from this high priced (£6.99 ish) celebrity hairdresser shampoo. I also bought it and used it in conjunction with the conditioner in the same range. I have long naturally straight hair which this product is made for. I never usually use a shampoo for straight hair as I wasn t sure there was any advantage. I was severely disappointed with this shampoo as I found it did nothing special to my hair.
