historywitch Sainsbury's Basics Hair Conditioner: ... long hair is quite thick. coarse and wavy and after lots of experimentation I realised I need to use an awful lot of conditioner to make it manageable and have a good hair day. If I use conditioner every day I can easily get through an ordinary bottle in ten (ish) days so I limit it to twice a week and put up with the resulting crazy hair the rest of the week. I am always on the look out for cheaper conditioners a...

Diane3 Sainsbury's Basics Shampoo
... I don t colour my hair so regularly (as the Clariol Nice n Easy lasts long) my hair is greasy every second day. I spent a lot of money on different shampoos when finally I bought Sainsbury s basics shampoo. Price and package This basics shampoo comes in a slightly transparent white plastic bottle. It contains 1 litre of shampoo and costs only 0.26 pounds. I think it is as cheap as possible. I bought it just because I hoped to get a very basic shampoo without any moisturising ingredients that makes my hair really dry. The shampoo - The shampoo is peach coloured and has pine smell. Well it is quite strange at first but you can get used to it. I have to use a lit...

izzoh Sainsbury's Hairspray Firm Hold
... have quite fine, straight hair but a lot of it! So unless my hair hasn t been washed for days I always have to use some kind of product if I have it up or just to stop it from flying all over the place. I tend to not overload my hair as I hate the thought of damaging it on purpose. But I always have hairspray hanging around somewhere. It s perfect for keeping those stray hairs in place and it s quick to use. I recently went out and made my hair wavy, while doing so I ended up using a stupid amount of hairspray! (It was a one off!) So I needed to get an emergency back up just to stick in the bathroom until I could pick up my usual brand. As I was in Sainsbury s I though...

katykicker Sainsbury's Basics Hair Conditioner
... I was out of work for a while I found that there were lots of basic and cheaper products that I could purchase from supermarkets in place of my usual branded items and save myself a load of money. This basics hair conditioner is one of these products and with a price tag of just 24p per 500ml this is one of the items that is going to stay on my shopping list long term. This conditioner is provided in a very basic plastic bottle with a large white screw top lid. Everything about this packaging just screams basic but then I would not expect anything more for the price paid. There is a white and orange label on the conditioner with the usual information such as ingredi...
