Vitapointe Leave-In Conditioner
by michloue I always remember seeing my grandmother use this product, and in all my years have never asked her what it is. One day whilst out shopping I found this product in Wilkinson's and bought a few bottles for her, I presumed it was something to do with permed hair until I read the packaging! I dye my hair very frequently and it ... sometimes turns quite frazzled. I thought I would give this a go as my grandmother rated it quite highly on using it on her permed damaged hair. I was not let down with the product at all. It was very simple to apply, only a tiny amount, and it works. It left my hair feeling much softer and in noticeably better condition. It was extremely shiny and lasted for days. This will be one product I pass on to my children too! Overall, a relatively cheap product that has clearly lasted the test of time with generations, and really works. Read the complete review |

Vitapointe Leave-In Conditioner
by springtide Last month I had an unexpected, rushed visit to help a friend and I ended up staying at my Mum and Dads for a few nights without any of my normal hair care products. Having just washed my hair I looked around for something that would help tame my tough and willful locks and spied Vitapointe leave in conditioner. This was a real blast ... from the past . I can remember Mum using this over 40 years ago so I asked to use it and was so pleased with it I ended up taking the tube home. It was a bit scary because I thought "I have turned into my Mum", well maybe thats not too bad! Specially formulated for dry, dull hair, Vitapointe is as old as the hills but it must be doing something right to last the course. It comes in a white plastic tube like a small, fat, toothpaste tube with a screw on white top. Vitapointe is written on the front in dark blue on a pink background, with "leaves hair soft shiny and manageable " written below. The pink also appears again in a wavy line just below the top with the words "Leave in conditioner to Revitalise Dry Hair" superimpossed . On the reverse it gives instructions for use and the ingredients which I will not list but synthetic beeswax appears on th list which,I think, helps to give this cream it´s calming down, shining up qualities. The whole effect of the packaging is clean and neat and not old fashioned. How to use it. Use on DRY hair. I squeeze, (as directed) a small pearl sized drop of the cream onto my palm. It has a pleasant light fragrance which won´t interfere with any perfume you are wearing and is a rich ,glossy thick cream which squeezes out of the opening easily. Rub your palms together and the gently smooth them through your hair. I give special attention to the top of my hair which is extra tough and the ends, in fact special attention to all of it! Then just style gently as normal. My Opinion. Well it suits my hair, it is definitely softer and smoother after use, and shinier but I do not think it would suit people with fine fly away hair which might feel weighed down. As you only need a little I think it is good value and more enviromentally friendly than an aerosol. It is made by Sarah Lee H&B UK and costs 30ml 1.79 50ml 2.03 Available from Boots and other retailers. 4 stars from me. Thanks Mum! Thank you for reading my review which might also be posted on Ciao under Splishsplash. Read the complete review |

Vitapointe Leave-In Conditioner
by moymoy Yester-year's version of todays clear serum. Both products give mirror shine on the most damaged/bleached/frizzy hair. As opposed to todays products, Vitapoint DOES NOT prevent hair absorbtion of the atmosphere, so If you expect this product to shield your locks from the environmental drizzly rain days - you know the ones ... when you step outside, hair perfect, and by noon oh ooh! FRIZZBOMB! .. best stick to frizzease. The smell is absolutely gorgeous, and if Vitapoint could bottle it into a perfume, they would make ££££ The feel& look is like a white whipped face cream, leaves a film on your palms - but nowhere near as filmy as a serum Yes, I can just see it now... ladies form the 1950's, trying to add shine to their 'sets' and couffing each marcel wave around their fingers, before attending the 'palais dance' LOL Bringing it up to date, its great that girls of today can also benefit, after extensive flat/ curl iron damage Proof that up-to-the-minute scientific potions aren't necc always the best.
