I think I paid £1 for this hairspray in a deal in an Avon catalogue and I couldn't be happier paying that price for it, as in general comparison with other like quality hair sprays it definitely counts as cheap. Without a doubt, I think this is the best deal for effective hairspray you can get and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone on a budget and not wanting a cheap, ineffective sticky mess - what you usually get from cheap hair sprays (usually supermarket brands)....more

Avon Advance Techniques Styling Finish it! Hair Spray: Well Worth the Money (228 words)

What you essentially want from a hairspray, in my opinion, is something that will hold a hairstyle without making your hair look like its been coated in something sticky. This hairspray manages to successfully do both. I've found it lasts for hours on a hairstyle, adding to volume, and yet it definitely has a brush out effect and doesn't look greasy. My favourite thing about this product is weirdly the smell. It's a gorgeous feminine fragrance, slightly smelling of berries if I had to label it as anything. Avon do a few different ranges of hair products designed for specific purposes. The Avon Advanced Techniques Styling Finish It Hair spray is one of their finishing/styling products. I love the packaging on this range, it is very simplistic - two colours, red and white and is very minimalistic. It reminds me of some very high end designer products and looks great (i.e. expensive) sitting on the bathroom shelf. The can itself is white with red and black writing. The lid/top is bright red, it twists to lock which I find a really thoughtful feature as when your travelling there is no risk of it getting over your clothes. I found the product a little ...  Read the complete review
