What you essentially want from a hairspray, in my opinion, is something that will hold a hairstyle without making your hair look like its been coated in something sticky. This hairspray manages to successfully do both. I've found it lasts for hours on a hairstyle, adding to volume, and yet it definitely has a brush out effect and doesn't look greasy. My favourite thing about this product is weirdly the smell. It's a gorgeous feminine fragrance, slightly smelling of berries if I had to label it as anything. This is a hairspray I have, which is from the Advance Techniques range at Avon. It normally costs £3.25 but is on offer quite a lot so look out for some good deals if you do want to buy this. You can see the bottle in the picture so I won't go into too much detail, basically it looks just how it does in the picture except to me the red lid is a bit brighter red but I don't know if thats just the computer screen. This is for spraying on your hair while your hair is dry, and after you have styled it into the look you want. You spray this on to hold the hair in place and keep it how you have styled it. Avon do a few different ranges of hair products designed for specific purposes. The Avon Advanced Techniques Styling Finish It Hair spray is one of their finishing/styling products. I love the packaging on this range, it is very simplistic - two colours, red and white and is very minimalistic. It reminds me of some very high end designer products and looks great (i.e. expensive) sitting on the bathroom shelf. The can itself is white with red and black writing.
