Advantages: smell

Disadvantages: look

What is the point of conditioner? When I was a wee lad my mum always conditioned my hair but I didn't understand why. All I understood was I was getting double the soaking over my head with the jug. Then the 2-in-1 stuff came out, but you don't see that so much these days do you? Well, all I know is that this one is on my shelf in the bathroom, and so I use it.

You need to use this after shampoo. It's not meant for cleaning, and doesn't do that. What it does is nourishes the hair, coating it in a creamy and smooth covering. It's somewhat milky in consistency, certainly a world away from the washing up liquid-esque world of shampoo.

The look of this stuff is just nasty: it looks like some demented bottle of gone off milk; chalky blue in colour, it has to be one of the worst ones out there for looks.

The nicest thing about this product is the smell. I'm not sure exactly that I would say it smells like blueberry (I don't actually think Blueberrys have much of a smell), but it is a nice smell. There's a gentleness to it, a soft fruitiness which is a nice change from hard and powerful smelling products. When you smell it you think of a field of flowers rather than a bunch of flowers if that makes sense! However, this also can be seen as a negative, as many people like a powerful and zingy product to wake them up in the morning, and if you are more interested in that sort of product then I would have to recommend the Apple version in the same range.

In terms of use, it leaves your hair feeling great, but I would seriously doubt it actually improves the quality of your follicles.

If you liked it, try one of the million other flavours out there in the same range, all available for around £1.

Summary: do it
