Advantages: price, price, price, does a great job

Disadvantages: isnt as 'fruity' smelling as the shampoo

I recently purchased the Alberto Balsam Anti-oxidant Blueberry shampoo and conditioner in Tesco. (Please read the shampoo review in conjunction with this). I bought them because they were under a pound a bottle and I was fairly fed up of literally washing my expensive shampoo down the plug hole.
I specifically chose the Blueberry as I colour my hair and it can be prone to dry / frizziness.

As with the shampoo, the conditioner comes in a clear 400ml bottle allowing you ti see the contents. In this case a plae blue thick liquid. Not as vibrant as the shampoo but I never buy a shampoo without the conditioner.

The conditioner wasnt as fruity smelling as the shampoo but a good dollop went through my long hair beautifully. After just a few minutes I was able to run a wide toothed comb through my hair effortlessly and rinse out the conditioner. I very much use a conditioner to de-tangle and this works beautifully. It left my hair feeling silky smooth and I am extremely happy with it.
Ive used it four times now and have found my hair to be left feeling silky and looking healthy and shiny. I also find that its not 'heavy' like alot of conditioners and after using it with the shampoo I only have to wash my hair twice a week.

Alberto Balsam claim that it conditions and protects. Replenishes lost moisture and adds shine. Strengthens with B5.

I have put it to the test and have to say that I agree with their claims. I shall definately be purchasing this again.

Summary: Youve nothing to loose at that price - give it a whirl!
